My latest and favorite arrangement

I just love this one! The tulips are like giant alien space crafts taking flight! It is so simple too... just baby gerberas, tulips (super tall special grade ones) and local yellow freesia. Smells lovely too!

Meet Amanda's answer to the butter tart!

So this is a butter tart bar. It is.... exquisite! I often find that butter tarts are too pastry heavy... I end up just scooping out the inside. Amanda, the genius behind Desmond and Beatrice makes this amazing squares for us that solve the pastry problem. Its like a shortbread cookie with rich butter tart and raisin caramelized oozy stickiness on top. So freaking good!

This is how I start my day... jealous? It's a toasted spring onion and aged cheddar cheese scone with ham an egg and more melted cheddar! Being a florist is fun and filling!

This is what I mean when I say that it is eternally summer here. January in Ontario, as my fellow Canadians will attest to, is bleak to say the least. Unless of course you get to spend your days here, which I do.
